MultiMediaPros named Microsoft Windows Media Service Provider

Salem, MA – Microsoft Corporation has certified MultiMediaPros as a member of the Windows Media Service Provider program. The WMSP Program represents independent companies worldwide who provide customer services using Windows Media.
WMSP Member companies must adhere to the strictest quality standards and provide the best in encoding, content capture, content management, live event production, enterprise deployment, advertising, and digital rights management to client companies in a variety of industries.
Salem-based MultiMediaPros offers complete streaming solutions in a variety of applications and recently added Windows Digital Rights Management to its already large list of media services. Clients can now protect their content by setting parameters during encoding, to limit usage or to enable pay-per-view applications.
MultiMedia Pros has taken the next step toward the future by adding Windows Media Hi-Definition Audio and Video 9 Series to their array of streaming services. These are a breakthrough new set of codecs from Microsoft that enable high definition video at resolutions up to 1080p along with multichannel audio. Viewers get a premium quality audio and video experience by downloading and playing these specially encoded files to their computers.
MultiMediaPros heads to Las Vegas for International CES 2004

Las Vegas, NV – Each January the Consumer Electronics Industry comes together in Las Vegas to show off the newest and most innovative consumer electronics goodies for the coming year at CES. This year, MultiMediaPros will be represented by President Rich Chadwick who will attend the show’s exhibits and conferences. “With the convergence of MultiMedia and consumer electronics stronger than ever, the show lets us remain in the forefront of what’s new and exciting” says Chadwick. Key speakers at this years show include Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Michael Dell and Rob Glaser, founder of Real Networks.
Chadwick plans to meet with many exhibitors at the show. He stated “we want to learn how manufacturers and creators of new technology can benefit our clients in an already crowded technical marketplace.” Look for an update after the show on the MultiMediaPros.com website.

New Executive Producer On Board At MultiMediaPros

Salem, MA – Multimedia Pros welcomes the addition of Joel Weisberg to the staff as executive producer. In this capacity, Weisberg will manage a variety of projects and act as liaison and account manager to MMP’s varied clients.
Weisberg comes to MultiMedia Pros after a three year stint as a freelance multimedia producer. Prior to that, he worked at Ziff Davis Media in both their publishing and webcasting divisions where he participated in the launch of and produced content for, PC Week Radio, one of the first audio webcasting sites. When that expanded to PC Week (later eWEEK) Webcast, he directed and produced live and pre-recorded video programs covering IT industry events and the personalities that shaped them.
Weisberg also created, developed, produced and directed regularly scheduled programs and collaborated in the overall site programming, design and of ZCast.tv, Ziff Davis' groundbreaking IT streaming media news site. MultiMediaPros President and founder Rich Chadwick said “This is an important time in MultiMediaPros history and we are proud to have Joel on board to head up our growth.”
